- Check the equipment where it's kept. Any problem goes straight to the admin

Record as you go
- Today's medication, due-now first. Tap Give, or Not given with a reason
- As-needed (PRN) medication shows how many doses in the last 24 hours, with a check against the prescriber's limits before you give
- Seizures, observations, sleep, tube feeds, fluids, urine and bowels, symptoms and pain
Hand over properly
- Answer each dose: Given, Not given, or Not administered when someone else gave it
- Write your handover with an ISBAR or shift report template
- Your note stays open for 3 hours after the shift ends
